FOR POSTER AUTHORS: ORGANIZATIONAL & TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
For the upcoming GeoKarlsruhe 2021 from 19-24 September 2021, we are currently setting up the conference environment using the SCOOCS virtual online event platform. It allows to visit the posters and to communicate with the authors. The platform provides also a chat function providing feedback to the authors.
For setting up your Poster you have the following options:
From 6-10 September 2021 directly in SCOOCS:
For both options you will find an introduction directly in SCOOCS. In addition, you will soon find a detailed manual on how to design your poster in Scoocs here.
All those who have not uploaded their posters in ConfTool can upload their posters to or design them directly in SCOOCS.
Those of you who already uploaded their posters to ConfTool are of course free to upload them into SCOOCS themselves. Else we will do it after the deadline.
Poster deadline in SCOOCS 10 September!
Poster session
Poster sessions are scheduled every day in the afternoon where the authors are attending. From the program you will see in which session your poster is assigned.
In these time slots, we will create a networking table (networking table = video meeting) for each poster. That means, during the time of the poster session, authors need to be at their posters and “Join” the networking table and ‘wait’ for other participants to come to their table and discuss their posters.
POSTER AWARD: Three best posters of (PhD) students will be selected by a jury and awarded. The selected posters will be awarded during the Closing Session on Thursday, September 23| 5:45 pm – 6:00 pm.
You have to be present at the virtual closing ceremony on Thursday, September 23| 5:45 pm – 6:00 pm.
